Doors at 7:45 pm. Werckmeister Harmonies starts promptly at 8:00. A 30-minute interval with strudel and mulled wine. The Turin Horse starts at ~10:00.
Both films carry Béla Tarr's signature slow pace. Come for immersion, not plot. If you're new to Hungarian cinema, this is a good starting point — nothing on offer at the Arts Picturehouse this term will be anything like it.
